2008 was the busiest year to date at The Viking and it’s going to be hard to keep up the standard for 2009. However we have listened to what you think has been successful this year and what you want for next year. So you’re going to hear it first here what’s happening this coming year at The Viking.
MORE COUNTRY
We will again book the best and the newest country acts for your entertainment. Some double headers will again appear throughout the year. Look out for some Saturday Afternoon country bands!
MORE WEEKENDERS
Yes at the moment there are 2 Weekenders, one in March and the other in October. This year we will be adding another weekender in JUNE! SEE WEEKENDERS PAGE FOR MORE DETAILS NOW
MORE LINEDANCING
Julie will be back this year teaching every single Saturday afternoon, or morning and will be on hand to walk you through your current favourites at 6.30 every Saturday Night.
MORE TRIBUTES
Over the summer we have witnessed some fantastic tribute nights at The Viking. Everyone from Queen to Elvis and Michael Jackson to Buddy Holly have appeared on our main stage. Holiday weekends will now also have tribute nights added to them. IF a tribute appears on a Saturday night on a holiday weekend, country music will still appear but in the afternoon and linedancing will be on the Saturday morning. Hot news about some fantastic tributes coming soon!
MORE PARTIES
Our TRIBUTEMANIA weekend was our most successful weekend ever at The Viking with the club at capasity throughout the weekend. We will be adding another TM weekend in 2009
MORE VALUE FOR MONEY
The cost of coming out to The Viking is COMING DOWN. Don't forget if you are visiting the club as part of your holiday with Bunn Leisure or a Bunn Leisure Owner, entry is FREE to the club. But if you wish to become a member of the club that entiltes you to FREE entry for every entertainment night, you can join for just £55. That's £20 less than it was in 2008. Door entry price is also being reduced for 2009. £5.50 will be the new door price this year.
